Join our great team of volunteers, and get involved in the planning and execution of events for the purpose of raising money and awareness for FFCF. We are looking for someone who is organized, has great attention to detail and good communication skills. Previous experience in event planning and fundraising would be an asset.
We're unique in that we are not an animal rescue and we don't have any animals in our care but support other charities through fundraising. Four Feet Companion Foundation is a registered charity that empowers animal lovers and local organizations to create a better life for companion animals. We give financial grants and other resources to support registered animal charities so they can expand the impact on the community. Our priority areas of funding are emergency situations (e.g. the seizure of animals from hoarding situations or natural disasters) and special projects (e.g. spay/neuter clinics).
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings as possible to meet the team and get up-to-date (approximately one per month).
-Establish event plans with team and identify areas of opportunity for event
participation.
-Create event proposals that target campaign goals/ fundraising targets
-Coordinate online and offline promotions of various events
-Assist with contracts for evens (venue booking, food/beverages, technical
support etc.)
-Communicate with vendors for all event-?related matters
-Assist we set up and take down of events
-Other duties as assigned
This position is very flexible. We are looking for someone to work from home and contribute hours to complete the goals and objectives set forth by FFCF. It is also required to attend our monthly meetings scheduled the first week of the month.
