Description
NAMI Wake is an affiliate of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

NAMI Wake County is currently recruiting passionate and highly-motivated adults between the ages of 18-35 to serve as Community Mental Health Volunteers for their upcoming program, Ending the Silence. Volunteers will have the opportunity to transform the lives of others through the principles of education, outreach, and advocacy. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are seeking to make a unique and meaningful contribution to their local healthcare community. This opportunity is particularly beneficial for students who are interested in becoming more competitive applicants for future healthcare, public health, law, and education programs.

If interested, please contact the organization for further information.
