Child of mercy children home was formed in 2010 and it's situated within shelly beach at Furaha Gardens in Kenya. It is a home for both boys and girls. Before getting here the children had lives without any prospects: they are orphans without a family, neglected and abandoned children who lived on the streets or from poor families who could not afford to take care of the children.
It was founded in the year 2010 by Mama Jesicca Opisa after bearing witness to vulnerable children languishing in the corridors of of the sprawling slum of likoni. Child of mercy children home is a non profit making religious institution with a mission to ensure a better life is provided to the needy and orphaned, the less fortunate and poor children from poverty stricken families through a provision of primary necessities to attain a nation where children become self-reliant and future leaders.
